The Pelagos Agreement is an associated partner of the Interreg Med - Plastic Busters MPAs project, which aims to preserve the biodiversity of natural ecosystems through actions to fight against marine litter.

It is within this framework that one virtuous Italian and French municipalities, signatories of the Pelagos Partnership Charter and located in the area where the monitoring had been carried out, are given the opportunity to apply one or more management measures identified in the project.

The Municipalities of Vecchiano (Italy, Pisa Province) and Saint-Florent (France, Haute-Corse) have expressed their interest in participating to the project and will thus be able to benefit from the expertise of a Consultant made for a free implementation of the above-mentioned management measures during the summer 2021.

The Pelagos Agreement congratulates the Municipalities of Vecchiano and Saint-Florent for their commitment!
